Sail Away offers a premier sailing experience on the tranquil waters of Percy Priest Lake. Founded in 2025 by husband-and-wife duo Stella and Jack Hennessy, Sail Away was born from their shared love of the water and passion for hosting. 

Their vision is simple—to share the serenity of sailing with others through relaxation, connection, and a touch of luxury. Sail Away aims to create an unforgettable experience where couples, friends, and families can slow down, connect, and make meaningful memories together.

WHERE DO YOU SAIL?+

We currently sail exclusively on beautiful Percy Priest Lake in Nashville, Tennessee.

WHEN CAN WE SAIL?+

Our sailing season runs from April through November—ideal for spring breezes, sunny summer afternoons, and crisp fall sunsets.

WHAT IS THE BOAT CAPACITY?+

Our sailboat can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. For the best experience, we recommend groups of 4 or fewer.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?+

Yes! We welcome children ages 1 and older. For safety, all children must wear life jackets provided by Sail Away at all times during the sail.

CAN WE SWIM?+

Absolutely! Guests are welcome to enjoy a refreshing swim during your sail if conditions allow.

IS THERE A BATHROOM ON BOARD?+

Yes, there is a small toilet on board reserved for emergencies. We recommend using the restroom before departure whenever possible.

CAN I BRING FOOD AND DRINKS?+

Yes! You’re welcome to bring your own food and beverages. Guests 21+ may enjoy alcohol responsibly while on board.

IS THERE MUSIC ON THE BOAT?+

Yes, our sailboat features Bluetooth speakers connected to an onboard iPad with Spotify, or you can sync your own playlist for the perfect soundtrack.

CAN I BRING A PHOTOGRAPHER OR CONTENT CREATOR?+

Absolutely! We love seeing guests capture their Sail Away experience—just let us know in advance if you’re bringing a photographer.

HOW DO I BOOK A SAIL?+

You can request to book directly through our website. Once you complete a booking request form, we’ll contact you within one business day to confirm your sail date and details.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS ON THE DAY OF MY SAIL?+

If weather conditions aren’t suitable for sailing, we’re happy to reschedule your experience for another available date.

CAN I CANCEL MY SAIL?+

Yes, you may cancel your booking at any time. Please note that the $75 deposit is non-refundable.

IS A DEPOSIT REQUIRED?+

Yes. A $75 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 48 hours before your scheduled sail.
